Camp Black Hawk Facilities


The Main Lodge, located in the heart of camp houses the camp kitchen and dining facilities. When not being used for meals, this building is used for indoor programs, especially on rainy days. The vast openness of this building provides lots of space for dance parties, campfires in the fireplace, and multiple activities going on at a time.	Campers and staff live platform tent units at CBH. Each unit has 7 to 9 tents, and each tent has 4 cots with mattresses and mosquito nets.

Campers visit the trading post once or twice during their stay at camp to purchase CBH souvenirs and merchandise.	Kyaks

Adventure Alley is home to camps archery range, climbing wall, challenge course, and high ropes course. Campers of all ages love to spend time conquering new challenges, and learning new skills. This is one of the most popular places in camp.	Archery Range

Lake Niobe	Lake Florence is the second lake at CBH. It is primarily used for fishing, hiking, and boating. There is one primitive camp site on the lake that hold up to 10 people. There is no public access to the lake.
