The Pool is the favorite spot for everyone at camp on those dog days of summer. Our pool house has 12 showers, a large changing area, large open deck around the entire pool with deck furniture and sun bathing area, office for the lifeguarding staff and plenty of pool accessories for lessons and fun activities. The pool has steps that enter the shallow end at 3 feet and gradually deepens to 10 feet at the other end. Each camper performs a swim test on Sundays and receives a swim band so all staff know their swimming capabilities. The pool is not open during the off season to user groups and is not available for troops renting Nakomis during the weekends in the summer at this time.
