CIT I

Learn the skills needed to lead campers successfully and become a great role model. You’ll learn how to teach team-building skills, help develop camp programs, and how to manage camper’s behavior. Teach outdoor skills, activities, songs, and lead hikes. The second week will be an internship as an assistant counselor. Counselors-in-Training go home over the weekend of their session. 

Prerequisite: prior camp experience is helpful plus a sincere desire to work with younger children and learn leadership techniques

CIT II

Are you ready for the last step before joining the Camp Ehawee staff? You’ll decide on an area of interest in which to specialize: waterfront, arts and crafts, nature, administration, or camp counseling. Work side-by-side with an experienced staff member. Spend time learning and working with girls who need you to be their mentor and counselor. Between your training and camp management activities, you’ll travel to other camps to observe their camp programs. Counselor-in-Training II participants will go home the second weekend of their session.

INTERNS

Once you have completed the CIT I and CIT II programs, it is time for your internship at Camp Ehawee! You will live in the units with the campers and shadow one of our unit counselors for the entire summer! Get involved in the planning, organization, and time management of each session.

Prerequisite: must have successful completion of CITII, WITII, LITII, TLITII or equivalent; must be entering 12th grade in the fall- NO EXCEPTIONS

SLUMBER PARTY

TROOP CAMP*

Troop Camp offers troops an exciting summer adventure full of great outdoor experiences!! Camp staff assists the troop adults by providing a core of activities including swimming, canoeing, and hiking along with fun art and nature experiences. Troop Camp allows the troop to take full advantage of all that Camp Ehawee has to offer! Troops have the opportunity to plan badge earning activities on their own. FAMILY WEEKEND
